Turkey is one of those countries located in the Mediterranean where you get sun for almost a year round. The city of Antalya is filled with beaches and hotels; you can just take your pick. One of the best ways to spend you vacation here is to soak up the sun in the beach.
The beach provides all sorts of things to do. There are many who go to Antalya to enjoy a couple of water sports. The weather out here is perfect, usually reaching up to 30 degrees or so from the months of May to September. The kids can enjoy banana boats here and the adults can take on diving, jet skiing and parasailing.
The city is also rich with cultural influences therefore you can visit the famous tourist spots. You will find a lot of European influences as well as which can be seen in the Roman Baths and canals constructed during the Roman occupation. You can now take dips on the baths which were once exclusive to men. You will also find a lot of towers and turret which give you an overall view of the city.
For those who have a deep appreciation of the arts you can visit ancient theatres and amphitheatres. The Aspendos is one of those famous theatres to go to. There also ancient spots rich in cultural content. It won’t hurt though to keep snapping that camera up.
Aside from the historical places, there are parks where you can relax and spend relaxing afternoons. You can also go in to museums or watch waterfalls. The nightlife here is lively and you can bring the family along for live entertainment and traditional dancing. There are also nightclubs that are open till the wee hours of the morning. You will find that you will never get bored in the city of Antalya.
